Fmr NRC Boss Eyes Kogi East Senate Seat
Fomer Managing Director of Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC), Alhaji Abdulraman Abubakar has declared his intention to contest Kogi East Senatorial Seat in 2011.
Alhaji Abubakar who made this known in a chat with The Graphic in Ankpa, said he was contesting the senatorial election because of his passion for the electorate of his constituency.
The senatorial aspirant who doubles as the former commissioner for Agriculture in old Benue State, said he was prepared to serve his people if elected. He maintained that he would lobby for the dividends of democracy if he is given the opportunity to serve.
Alhaji Abubakar declared that as a retired civil servant, he had enough experience to represent his people. He stressed that politics is about selfless service to humanity.
