Akamoda Aspires
for Reps Seat
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
Chieftain, Hon. Raphael Akamoda
has declared his intention to
contest for Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu
House of Representatives seat in
the 2011 general elections.
Hon. Akamoda made the
declaration addressing his
teeming supporters on his
ambition in Kabba.
According to him, “in terms of
development there is still much
ground to be covered in our
constituency” adding, “I am
therefore offering myself for
the service of my father land”.
Hon. Akanmoda said he has a lot
of programmes to execute if
elected. He noted that he has
always offered himself for
community development.
The House of Representatives
aspirant said he would revive
the moribund Kabba Air strip and
lobby for the establishment of a
Federal University in Kabba land
if elected.
He called on the electorate of
his area to consider him for the
seat in the next general
election, promising to give his
people adequate representation.
