Abejukolo,
Oguma Road Contract to be
Awarded
CONTRACT for Abejukolo -Ikende
-Ikpanche-Oguma Road project
will soon be awarded by Kogi
State Government.
Governor Ibrahim Idris
re-echoed the promise while
receiving members of
Bassa-Kwomu community, led
by the Aguma of Bassa, Chief
Joseph Kpongbo, who were in
Government House on a
solidarity visit.
The Governor who described
the project as vital for the
enhancement of the
well-being of the various
communities along the route,
maintained that his
administration would not
relent in its bid to meet
the yearnings of people of
the state.
He further used the
opportunity to express the
determination of his
government to ensure that
dividends of democracy are
spread across the length and
breath of the state hence,
its resolve to embark on a
massive rural -urban
transformation projects.
Alhaji Ibrahim Idris thanked
members of Bassa-Kwomu
community for supporting the
executive and legislative
arm of government in the
state as well as the
traditional and local
government council of their
area, noting that this has
gone a long way in
contributing to the success
of his administration.
Earlier, while reading the
address of the Aguma of
Bassa, the Chairman of Kogi
State Water Board, Mr. Peter
Dogwo applauded the
administration for
initiating people -oriented
projects across the state.
He pledged the continuous
support of the community to
the Alhaji Idris-led
administration.
